I have been teaching Computer Science and Information
Systems courses for the
University System of Georgia for the past six years. I have
been a radio D.J., a Database Administrator, and a
Translator at various points in my previous working life.
I'm an active member of the IEEE Computer Society, the
ACM, and SIGGRAPH, the ACM's Special Interest Group for
Graphics. I am also an active member and the Webmaster for
the Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics (see some of
my work at http://www.gctm.org
).
I enjoy creating 3D animations, programming, investing,

I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia State University,
an M.Ed. and a B.S. in Mathematics from North Georgia
College & State University. You can see some of my

For the past eight years, I have traveled annually to South
America on 1-2 week mission trips. This year we took a
team of 22 doctors, nurses, dentists, translators and other
