CBIS 2215 Project 1

For Project 1, you will make use of the simple drawing program Paint and your email account to send an attachment to your professor. 

Part 1 - Self Portrait in Paint

  1. Go into MS Paint (Start: Programs: Accessories: Paint). 
  2. Under the Image menu item, select the Image Attributes. 
  3. Change the size of the image to 128x128 pixels (a small square). 
  4. Create a self portrait of yourself and save the image as YourName.bmp on your floppy.

Part 2 - Sending an Email Attachment

  1. Log into your Email account (click here for instructions for GC&SU's Bobcat email system).
  2. Compose an email to me (Prof. Payne, bryson.payne@gcsu.edu)  from your Bobcat account.
  3. Click the Attach button, Browse for the file you just saved (YourName.bmp on your floppy), then Attach the file to your email. 
  4. Send the e-mail to me with the subject: CBIS 2215 Project 1.

Due: Tuesday, August 31, by the beginning of class.
